Wheelock Day
Thanks to the generosity of the PTA, our annual WHEELOCK DAY will be held Wednesday, June 14th.

Fifth Grade Recognition
Save the Date! Grade 5 Recognition will be held Monday, June 19th in the evening.  Stay tuned for more information.

City Of Keene Water Fair
Joselyn Lucius received a gift certificate and was congratulated for participating, Davey Nadeau received a gift certificate and a ribbon for Honourable Mention, and Anna Dumond received a silver dollar and a trophy for 2nd place!!!!  She is off to the state competition on the 10th. Congratulations to all of our fourth graders who participated in the water fair.

Last Day of School
The official last day of school is Tuesday, June 20th.  Dismissal should occur around 12:30PM.

Kindergarten Registration Continues
Calling all Kindergarteners!   If you or anyone you know has a child ready for Kindergarten in September of 2017, please tell them to come in and register ASAP. You may register your child from 8:00 AM - 3:45 PM at any Keene elementary school. Click on the link at the top of the page for more information and registration forms.

Reading with Ribby
Students that read 20 minutes a night and have their bookmark signed by a parent 18 times by April 14th will receive a t-shirt and ticket to the Swamp Bat Game on Wednesday, June 21 at 6:30 pm.

A Restaurant Fundraiser is planned for Thursday, May 25th at Panera Bread.  More details to come.

Smarter Balance
Coming soon!   Grade 3, 4 and 5 students will soon begin Smarter Balance testing.  Students will complete assessments in language arts and math.  For more information, go to http://www.education.nh.gov/instruction/assessment/sbac/students-parents.htm

Bike Riding
Fourth and fifth graders may begin riding their bikes to school again. Helmets must be worn. Please review safety rules and routes with your child to be sure they are riding safely.
